Become a P.A.S Challenge mentor
Support a youth team through the IAS hackathon, through to the finale on 10 December.
The P.A.S Challenge (Problem, Algorithms, Solution) is the hackathon of the Institute of Algorithms of Senegal (IAS), organised during SALTIS. Youth teams aged 15 to 30 have 5 weeks to build an online POC.
Your role as a mentor:
- Support a participant team as their reference coach, at the frequency of your choice.
- Help assess the feasibility of proposed problems and, if needed, team composition.
- Provide the jury with a follow-up note on your team's work and progress.
- Help shortlist teams for the forum if the jury asks.
Calendar: POC build from 18 October to 22 November, jury review on 25 November, mentoring from 27 November to 7 December, finale on 10 December 2026 at SALTIS BUILD.
